There are several modes of transportation to get around in Paris that we can use and here’s some guide for you:

Metro 

Paris Métro or Métropolitain is a rapid transit system in Paris Metropolitan Area, with one of the best and oldest stations in the world. You can find 300 stations connected by nearly 300 km track. The Metro operates from 05:30 to 03:00. They have special ticket for travelers called Le Paris Viste ticket, which will make travelers like us to travel anywhere without limit to all the Paris Metro and bus network. You will need your passport to buy this special ticket. Make sure you grab one of the Metro Map you can get at the stations. Getting around using metro system in Paris is going to make your travel so much enjoyable. 

Velib 

Velib is a rental bike, which could easily be found at any station. To rent one, you will need to register at the terminal Velib located at one of the station and you can return it at any station. If you decide to get around Paris using Velib, the rental price is about 1 Euro and they usually give out the first 30 minutes for free. Getting around Paris using a bike is really nice if you want to want to enjoy the sight. 

Bus

Bus system in Paris is equally good as the metro. Although the metro is much faster, traveling by bus will be very entertaining, since you can see. You can use the tourist metro ticket (Le Paris Viste) or the Carte Orange. Grab a map of the bus at the metro stations or bus shelters to help you get around.
