Velib is a rental bike, which could easily be found at any station. To rent one, you will need to register at the terminal Velib located at one of the station and you can return it at any station. If you decide to get around Paris using Velib, the rental price is about 1 Euro and they usually give out the first 30 minutes for free. Getting around Paris using a bike is really nice if you want to want to enjoy the sight.
Bus
Bus system in Paris is equally good as the metro. Although the metro is much faster, traveling by bus will be very entertaining, since you can see. You can use the tourist metro ticket (Le Paris Viste) or the Carte Orange. Grab a map of the bus at the metro stations or bus shelters to help you get around.
